What is the Silent piano (SC3)?
It is a remarkable acoustic piano that can be played silently while allowing you to adjust the volume, preserving the rich and complex sound characteristic of an acoustic instrument. Switch to silent mode and the hammers stop just before striking the strings, while the movements of the keys are detected by optical sensors. These trigger the internal sound generator which reproduces a digitally sampled acoustic piano sound in your headphones. The result is a natural acoustic piano sound that you can enjoy playing at any time, without worrying about your environment.
